SAFETY FIRST

UNDER-18 SAFEGUARDING

Fight Finder is a discovery platform. Safeguarding responsibility remains with the adults and organisations arranging and supervising participation.

Adult-managed accounts

A person under 18 must not manage their own Fight Finder account or communicate privately with promoters through the platform. Their profile must be controlled by a parent, legal guardian or authorised responsible coach.

Limited public information

Do not publish a child’s personal email, telephone number, home address, school, daily routine, travel plans or other information that could identify where they will be unsupervised. Use the responsible adult’s contact details.

Photos and consent

Only upload an under-18’s image when the parent or legal guardian has given informed permission for that specific public use. Images must be appropriate, competition-related and free from identifying school or home-location details. Consent can be withdrawn by contacting Fight Finder.

Matching and events

A responsible adult must verify age category, experience, weight, rules, medical requirements, opponent suitability, supervision and the promoter’s safeguarding arrangements. A listing or match suggestion is not an endorsement from Fight Finder.

Communication boundaries

Adults must not request secret, sexual, intimidating or unsupervised contact with an under-18. Keep communication transparent and include the parent, guardian or responsible coach.

Report concerns

Use the reporting page if something appears unsafe or inappropriate. If a child is in immediate danger, contact 999. For non-emergency advice in the UK, contact the NSPCC helpline or the relevant local safeguarding authority.
